This is an unguided tour that doubles the most exhilarating portion of Haleakala…the switchbacks at 6700’ elevation. You ride all downhill through dozens of switchbacks, at your own pace with relatively no traffic to deal with. We wait for you at the end of the switchbacks, then load up the bikes and bring you back up to the beginning. Then we unleash you to do it again, which you will love even more the second time down!!

This tour runs daily from 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m We meet at Target in Kahului.
This is the same route as our Cycle to the Sea Tour, but for those who want to bike by themselves at their own pace. We are, however, always close by ahead of you if you need a drink, snack, bike adjustment, or general information along the way. We are the ONLY company to offer this service!!

Our bikes can handle up to 260 pounds.
Must be at least 4’9″
We don’t require you to be a professional, but we do require you to be experienced. You must ride often and recently. Need to know how to shift gears, handle hairpin turns, and pedal to keep up the pace.
Industry wide restriction. No expectant moms. During or after the tour, you’re welcome to get pregnant.
